Derrick Rose is my favorite example of how a person can overcome, be humble and keep hoping in what he does, growing as a person. Despite of this, I would like to clarify why is him that special for me. Well, when he used to play in the Chicago Bulls, I didn’t know him. I knew about him in one of his games with the Minnesota Timberwolves, it was because he made 54 points, a lot for just one game, and he made it when he came back from his injury in 2012. Derrick Rose was an MVP, but because of his injury, he lost this privilege. When he played the game I talked before, he cried, and people started to scream this word “MVP”, motivating him to continue playing, because he was doing it really well. This person had a lot of problems and he didn’t descend, he could just succeed, with the support of his beautiful family and the people that believes in him. He taught me how to encourage myself to do what I think is correct.
Referees are key part of a basketball game, their decisions can change the complete game and a bad decision would make them feel guilty. In spite of this, referees always try to give their bests to the field, trying to succeed in every game. Every referee in the game has to be cooperating in order to have a good performance, avoiding cheating and giving the victory to the team they want, because this is unfair. This people has to be the most impartial they can and they cannot show any preference they have, because this can change the whole course of the game. Referees in these times are not respecting the rules, they usually have preferences and they show them. This have to change as soon as possible, for the common good of the basketball society.
